Kelly Vakalahi is a successful business owner and leader in the construction industry. She is renowned for implementing effective processes and championing health and safety initiatives. Kelly has played a pivotal role in achieving the Group's Totika health and safety pre-qualification, a notable accomplishment for any business. Alongside her husband Jazz, Kelly was also a finalist for the 2022 Pacific Business Trust Awards in the Construction Section, a testament to their success in a relatively short time in business.

As Director of MVM Group Ltd Jazz is a respected leader in the undestry and is known for his innovative approaches to solving construction challenges. Starting as a labourer in 1999, Jazz progressed to carpenter and licensed building practitioner in 2017.

His successes include the Sky City Convention Centre, leading teams of up to 40 staff and contracts to delivery large scale projects with Fletchers, Kainga Ora and KiwiRail. Jazz excels relationship-building and skilful management of multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards and satisfaction. He advocates for education in the trades and has guided many apprentices to qualification.

Nela is a time served tradesman and Licenced Building Practitioner in carpentry. Starting as an apprentice he has built up considerable building and construction experience from working across a wide range of bespoke residential projects. he is know for never accepting something can't be done and alwats brings a 'how can we do this' approach applying time served practical building knowledge to solve onsite problems and keep the programme moving.

From running his own business Nela brings well rounded professional skills to the MVM Group, enabling him to manage multiple projects to successful outcomes simultaneously.

Wayne is renowned for his ability to blend traditional carpentry with modern innovation in light commercial, restoration and renovation projects. With roots in construction inherited from his father, and a background in professional sports, Wayne brings a unique perspective to his work.

For the past 18-years, he has upheld his reputation as a LBP Qualified Tradesman, specializing in bungalow and villa restorations. Wayne's commitment to excellence extends beyond his work, he actively mentors aspiring builders and engages in community initiatives.

Liu Mesake is a thriving entrepreneur in the construction sector, overseeing the operations of both NM Projects Limited and MVM Group Limited. Liu brings experience in administration and community service. With a background in overseeing programs, she possesses organisational and leadership skills for administrative tasks. Her experience in ensuring safety and managing staff seamlessly transitions to supervising personnel and maintaining safety protocols.

A highly respected leading hand, Foki is known for exceptional leadership skills and dedication. Starting as a labourer, Foki pursued an apprenticeship and successfully obtained his trades qualifications.

Foki's ability to lead teams, manage time, and allocate resources efficiently means clients often specifically request him to be involved in their projects, a testament to his exceptional skills and professionalism.

Filipe, known for his diligent work ethic and commitment to quality. When faced with challanges, Filipe is quick to come up with innovative solutions. This resourceful mindset contributes to the smooth operation and delivery of projects.

He is highly experienced in modular builds and his extensive experience in this area adds significant value to the team and projects - showcasing his expertise and versatility in construction methods.

Sione is a seasoned construction professional with exceptional ability to connect with onsite teams and find practical solutions to construction challenges. He has gained considerable experience through working with companies like Vakalahi Construction and NM Projects progressing from apprentice carpenter to a qualified builder and leading hand.
